Yesterday, 22 October, we celebrated Cluster Catalonia Logistics’ 10th anniversary at Jardí de l’Abadessa in Barcelona, surrounded by professionals, companies and institutional representatives who are part of the present and future of the transport and logistics sector in Catalonia.

Catalonia Logistics Cluster took part in the Saló de l’Ocupació, organised by Barcelona Activa, with the roundtable “Which profiles are most in demand in transport and logistics? A sector undergoing transformation and change”. The session focused on exploring career opportunities in the sector and the challenges companies face when recruiting new professionals.

The Cluster Catalonia Logistics participated in the BCN H2 Powered Mobility Event, a conference dedicated to hydrogen in transport and logistics that gave us the opportunity to learn first-hand about projects, initiatives and experiences demonstrating that hydrogen mobility is already making progress.

Cluster Catalonia Logistics attended the first day of BNEW 2026, Barcelona New Economy Week, an event organised by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, taking place from 5 to 7 October and bringing together companies, professionals and experts to discuss the main challenges and opportunities of the new economy.

Sustainability has become one of the major challenges facing road freight transport. This was the starting point for the second roundtable discussion in the Mirades Sectorials series organised by Banc Sabadell, in which we participated on behalf of Cluster Catalonia Logistics.

Barcelona, 1 October 2026. The Board of Directors of the Port of Barcelona has awarded SympH2ony, the joint venture created by Toyota Tsusho Europe and Messer, the construction and operation of the port’s future hydrogen refuelling station. The project, which represents an investment of more than 20 million euros, goes beyond the installation of an energy infrastructure and forms part of the alliance’s strategy to promote a full European ecosystem for green hydrogen-based mobility, particularly in logistics and industrial environments.
